Bill Cosby Show: See How The Cast

The Cosby Show was one of the most popular family television comedies of the 1980s. The Cosby Show was inspired by Bill Cosby’s stand-up comedy about raising children.

Cliff and Clair Huxtable, an upper-middle-class couple in New York, were played by Bill Cosby and Phylicia Rashad in The Cosby Show. Four of their five children were played by Tempestt Bledsoe, Malcolm-Jamal Warner, Lisa Bonet, and Keshia Knight Pulliam.

The show aired for eight seasons on NBC between September 20, 1984, until April 30, 1992.

Its two most popular seasons drew over 30.5 million monthly viewers, and even when it “simmered down,” 13.8 million remained devoted to the show. In addition to its popularity, it received over 100 nominations and awards from critics.

Despite the recent Bill Cosby scandal, the show remains popular today.

Many of the cast members, particularly the children, are still popular in Hollywood and can be seen in your favorite TV shows and movies today.
