Nigerian Women Coaches Advance in 2nd Phase of CAF C-License Course

The CAF C-License Coaching Course for Nigerian women coaches has entered its second phase, with 30 participants intensifying their learning in Abuja.
The program, which began last month at the NFF/FIFA Technical Centre, MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja, is structured into three modules.
The first module took place from July 15th to 25th, followed by a two-week internship where the coaches gained hands-on experience with various clubs.
This course is the first ever all female CAF C Course hosted by the NFF since 2016.
Speaking on the progress, NFF Technical Director Augustine Eguavoen expressed satisfaction with the participants’ discipline and dedication. “We are generally impressed by their commitment to the entire program,” Eguavoen told thenff.com.
The ongoing second module began on Monday and will conclude on Friday, August 16th, after which the coaches will embark on another two-week internship from August 23rd to September 4th.

The final module, which includes examinations, is scheduled for September 9th to 19th.
The educators for the course include Dr. Terry Babatunde Eguaoje, NFF’s Head of Education, alongside Coaches Isah Ladan Bosso, Wemimo Olanrewaju, and Lawrence Ndaks.
Among the 30 participants are former Super Falcons stars such as Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, Esther Michael, and Maureen Eke, Otas Ogbomwan, Vera Okolo, Cecilia Nku, Taiwo Ajobiewe, Gloria Ofoegbu, Amenze Aighewi as well as Barrister Victoria Nlemigbo and retired FIFA referee Folusho Ajayi.
