Pa Oluwafunmiladekan Onamuti Laid To Rest In Colourful Ceremony

Family, friends and well-wishers from within and outside the country convened in Lagos to pay their last respect to late Elder Oluwafunmiladekan Onamuti a.k.a “The Manager”. Elder Oluwafunmiladekan Onamuti died on Thursday,14th September, 2023. He was aged 80.

The three-day funeral events for the respected octogenarian commenced on Friday, October 27, with a Service of Songs that held at the Surulere residence of the deceased. This was followed, the next day, by the Funeral service, which was held at Prayerlink Evangelical Ministries, Surulere. The presiding minister, Senior Pastor Samuel Ojo, gave a heartfelt eulogy in which he highlighted the numerous instances in which Pa Onamuti impacted positively on his loved ones, friends and even his casual acquaintances. The Clergyman also commended the late Elder Onamuti for his unwavering devotion to God to the very end.

The funeral reception, which was hosted at the impressive and resplendent Nebo Hall, situated inside the Albati Barracks,Surulere, was a carnival of sort. It was a gathering of personalities from all walks of life who graced the occasion to pay their final respect to a man that came, saw and conquered quietly. Among the dignitaries present at the reception venue include some members of the House of Representatives; the Senior Pastor, Omega Fire Ministries Western Region, Reverend Fidelis Ayemoba, amongst many others.

The late Elder Onamuti is survived by his wife, Mrs Diana Onamuti, nine children, and several grandchildren. He is also survived by several in-laws that include Apostle Vincent Nwokolo, the Senior Pastor of Dominion Tabernacle Global Ministries, Chicago, USA.
