Harvest Of Awards: Chief Okelue John Okpoli Conferred With Multiple Fellowships, Set To Bag Honorary Doctoral Degree

It has been a season of awards, recognitions and celebrations for renowned business executive Chief Okelue John Okpoli (KSJ). One of the reasons for the celebration is the recent conferment on him of a distinguished Fellow award from the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD).

Okpoli, who is a player in the finance and Investment subsector of the economy, was also inducted as a fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA) and also by the Chartered Institute of Cost Management Nigeria (ICMN). These honours were bestowed upon him in recognition of his outstanding professional accomplishments. The fellowship award status is the highest grade of any Institute or association. It is usually conferred on individuals who are vastly experienced and have excelled remarkably in their respective fields of endeavour. Thus, it is a mark of distinction which sets them apart from their peers.

Similarly, the European American Commonwealth University is set to honor Chief Okpoli with an honorary doctoral degree in Investment management & Corporate leadership. Okelue John Okpoli Dr Olusola Oyelami, a representative of the University, while delivering the decision of the Institution, stated that the doctorate degree was being conferred on Chief Okpoli on account of his career exploits and contribution to the growth of his profession and national development.

The finance and investment guru was also inducted into the Catholic knights of St John International. Recall that earlier in the year, Chief Okpoli was honoured by the Oriro community in Delta State with the title of the Oriro of Olomu Kingdom. An indigene of Delta State, Chief Okelue John Okpoli’s rich and illustrious professional career in the finance & Investment subsector spans over a decade.
